About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our team as a Record to Report Professional.

Billing and Revenue Recognition:
  • Monitor and manage monthly billing to business partners according to group timelines.
  • Coordinate with associates and specialists to check and post AR invoices, DN/CNs into SAP systems by country and cost center.
  • Provide feedback to business partners on their queries and concerns.
  • Monitor withholding tax documents required for settlements.
Intercompany Matching and Settlement:
  • Oversee the preparation and monitoring of IC matching reports performed by associates and specialists.
  • Ensure team members take necessary actions on outstanding issues and resolve open items in a timely manner.
  • Monitor ICT settlements performed by associates and specialists.
Accounts Receivable Aging:
  • Review monthly aging reports to ensure compliance with group policies.
  • Monitor AR credit control to ensure timely settlement within 30 days.
Banking and Cash Management:
  • Post all bank charges parked by associates and specialists.

Review bank reconciliations prepared by associates and specialists.

Fixed Assets:
  • Review fixed assets created by associates and specialists.
  • Input asset numbers created by associates and specialists into ARIBA and approve PIR.
  • Support monthly depreciation runs performed by associates and specialists.
Prepayments and Accruals:
  • Review monthly prepayment schedules, amortization, and accruals entries.
Month-End Closing:
  • Review and post all reclassifications and journals parked by associates and specialists.
  • Run WBS settlements to cost centers.
  • Perform reverse charges.
  • Perform FX revaluations and translations.
  • Ensure completeness of all processes and month-end closings.
  • Act as key contact person for assigned Local Business Units.
  • Review balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure open items are resolved in a timely manner.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of local BU reporting and analysis templates for regulatory reporting purposes.
  • Review monthly management reporting, including management accounts, bylines, and longsheet reconciliations, and report generations.
  • Ensure submission of all reporting and analysis deliverables to Group Finance and local BUs on time, without compromising quality and compliance with AIA accounting procedures and applicable accounting requirements.
  • Coordinate with external and internal parties to handle audits of local BUs.
  • Develop and update control checklists, training materials, and business process manuals as needed.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Review and post fund transfer and dividend payment entries prepared by associates and specialists.
  • Manage day-to-day general accounting and reporting activities, including liaising with personnel from various departments and business partners.
  • Ensure procedures are adhered to and controls are documented accordingly.
  • Perform monthly financial close activities, ensuring meeting of SLAs and deadlines.
  • Review or perform UAT as required.
