Job Purpose

The Accountant role within our Shared Service Center is pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate financial management. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for preparing full-cycle Accounts Payable, providing essential information to drive business decisions and improve overall performance.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily accounts operations, including handling supplier invoices, staff claims, Intercompany Purchases, Debit Notes, payments, and updating accounting records.
  • Prepare monthly closing accounts with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform regular reconciliation on a monthly basis, covering Bank, vendor, Inter-company, etc., transactions.
  • Liaise with counterparts to resolve problematic invoices efficiently.
  • Establish and maintain organized filing systems, ensuring all documents are accurately stored.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits as required.
  • Address finance-related queries from various functions and offer necessary financial assistance across teams.
  • Contribute to the International Intercompany Account Receivable (AR) / Account Payable (AP) reconciliation process.
  • Maintain vendor master data with precision.
  • Take on additional duties and assignments as needed, focusing on continuous improvement of internal controls and processes.
Your Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Accountancy/Finance or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in an accounting-related field (fresh graduates with eagerness to learn are also encouraged to apply).
  • A proactive working attitude, result-oriented team player, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An independent individual with initiative, adaptability, and ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural team.
  • Detail-oriented, mature, and possessing multi-tasking skills.
