Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team at Arup. As a key member of our Building Structures group, you will be responsible for providing consulting engineering services to clients in Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake structural design for major projects, producing drawings and reports in line with structural specifications.
- Participate in Building Information Modelling (BIM) coordination to implement project BIM execution plans.
- Work with structural technicians to produce Revit models and coordinate work with engineers from other disciplines.
- Produce project-related correspondence and reports, liaising directly with clients and other professionals with minimal supervision.
- Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering in Building projects.
- Proven track record of working on diverse projects, including low and high-rise PPVC, pre-stressed, and timber structures.
- Proficient in Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper, and programming skills.
- Good written and verbal communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
- Able to demonstrate strong design ability and engineering skills and knowledge.
