Job Responsibilities
  • Independently deliver Financial Reporting services to BSSCKL's customers in accordance with established Financial Reporting processes and work procedures, ensuring compliance with BASF policies & guidelines, internal control requirements, local company legal and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure that timelines and quality meet the agreed service levels and targets.
  • Support and provide guidance to Analysts in performing Financial Reporting tasks.
  • Back up, assist with, and perform Financial Reporting tasks as required.
Main TasksFunctional Tasks (including but not limited to):
  • Independently provide Financial Reporting transaction processing support, ensuring delivery quality in terms of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness on a daily basis.
  • Perform and analyze booking of accounting transactions, fixed asset transactions, master data maintenance, and account reconciliation including account clearing.
  • Perform analytical review of profit and loss accounts and balance sheet, trend analysis, and transaction posting checks.
  • Prepare and coordinate for month-end, quarter-end, year-end, and statutory financial reports for BASF companies across Asia Pacific, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and liaise with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues and queries related to Financial Reporting processes.
  • Contribute to working groups with specific expertise knowledge.
  • Perform backup and other duties as and when required or delegated.
