About the Role

RWDI is a global climate and performance engineering consulting firm helping clients overcome design and operational challenges while minimizing environmental, user, and resource impact.

We are seeking an Intermediate Acoustic Engineer to join our APAC Noise and Vibration team focusing on environmental noise and vibration projects across Southeast Asia.

This role offers the opportunity to work on various projects in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and occasionally other regions such as Taiwan, Vietnam, and Hong Kong. You will need to be physically able to conduct testing in sometimes challenging conditions.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in applicable engineering/science/physics disciplines with a demonstrated interest in noise, acoustics, and vibration. They must also have ability to work in a variety of physically demanding environments.

  • Support project teams in delivering noise and vibration assessments for environmental and building projects.
  • Conduct ground-borne noise and vibration measurements in various locations across Southeast Asia.
  • Analyse and interpret data, providing actionable insights to clients.
  • Prepare 3D noise models using either Cadna or Soundplan;
  • Lead client-facing activities, discussing project needs, outcomes, and recommendations.

We value collaboration, people, and teamwork skills as well as the ability to prioritise and complete work independently. Individuals within this high-performing team must manage their time carefully and balance work for several ongoing projects simultaneously.
