Job Summary

To drive the project in planning, organizing, managing and controlling the various stages of the assigned medium to high complexity projects in ensuring the projects are executed according to the schedule, cost and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Implementation: Lead the planning as well as implementation of project and facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Project Coordination: Prompt coordination with business units, technical team, governance team and service provider on project implementation plan.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and to provide direction and support to project team.
  • Issue Management: Identify and report project issues, slippage of tasks or milestone and project risks and facilitate timely resolution.

  • Team Management: Eliminate impediments and actively address issues so that the team can remain focused on achieving the objectives of the Iteration.
  • Project Reporting: Provides timely reports on project status, budget spending, risks and issues to enable early visibility into project performance for better decision making by the authorized person or committee.
  • Project Quality: Promotes and takes accountability for project quality, opportunity to improve delivery.
  • Project Change Management: Manage project changes, ensuring any changes to the project baseline are managed through change request and all impacts are considered.
  • Professionalism and Conduct: Adopt an agile and flexible approach to work and an outstanding level of professionalism and conduct.
  • Cross-Functional Initiatives: Management and coordination of all cross-functional initiatives with organizational impact.
  • PMO Practice: Ensures PMO practice, documentation, approach and governance processes are applied consistently.
Key Requirements
  • Education: Minimum Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering or any related field.
  • Experience: At least 6 year(s) of working experience as a Project Manager in the related field.
  • Project Management Skills: Experienced in project management documents such as tender preparation, presentation, proposal, project update, reports, stakeholders, issues, and risk management.
  • IT and Software Development: Experienced in IT and software development lifecycle is an added advantage.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Team-player attitude, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Critical Thinking: Critical thinker with ability to analyze and synthesize information.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (written and oral).
  • People Management: A team player and able to manage the relevant stakeholders and ensure timely compilation of deliverables.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous, with an eye for details and hands-on person.
  • Multitasking and Prioritization: Excellent in multitasking and prioritization; able to work proactively, independently and under pressure against multiple deadlines.
  • People Management and Planning: Excellent people management, planning and organization skills.
  • Project Management Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
