Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to analyze and solve production engineering and new project qualification issues. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a Sr. Manager PBL organization to ensure timely project launches, efficient production processes, and improved supplier capabilities.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive productivity, on-time delivery, and cost reduction initiatives. Additionally, they will train and support suppliers to improve their capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SUPPLIER ENGINEERING CAPABILITY: Support sourcing for new supplier qualification, exit, and audit, as well as assess suppliers to enhance their capabilities.
  • NEW PROJECT: Assist sourcing for new product quotations, manage projects for on-schedule approval, support suppliers in DFM and PFMEA preparation, and design review.
  • SUSTAIN PRODUCT: Collaborate with sourcing and suppliers to review and improve capacity, including leading copied tool qualification. Work with SQE and suppliers to improve process yield and address quality problems.
  • PRODUCTIVITY: Identify improvement opportunities with suppliers and team members, follow VAVE projects, and support sourcing for cost reduction negotiations.
  • CAPEX MANAGEMENT AND EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE: Follow capex qualification and support PBL suppliers in preparing equipment and tool maintenance plans.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical-related field.
  • 8+ years of total working experience.
  • Over 5 years of direct experience in connector and/or cable manufacturing engineering.
  • Communication skills in Mandarin and English.
  • Strong execution ability.
