Job Description

The Supply Chain Program Manager I plays a crucial role in supporting the Supply Chain activities for assigned design initiatives. This position is responsible for delivering Supply Chain deliverables identified in the Product Creation Process (PCP). The incumbent will perform situational analysis, strategy development, guidance, and implementation for the functional disciplines of supply chain development, procurement, and logistics.

  • Responsible for Supply Chain deliverables identified in the Product Creation Process (PCP).
  • Performs situational analysis, strategy development, guidance, and implementation for the functional disciplines of supply chain development, procurement, and logistics.
  • Collaborates with mechanical design engineers to determine the most cost-effective manufacturing process for custom mechanical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Design For Manufacturability (DFM) reviews prior to design release.
  • Evaluate suppliers' manufacturing capability to support various custom mechanical manufacturing processes.
  • Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and advanced supply chain optimization programs with suppliers.

This role requires excellent project management skills, including scheduling, resource allocation forecasting, and budgeting. The successful candidate will have experience working with budgets and possess advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
