Job Summary

We are seeking a Hindsight Economist to join our team, responsible for executing the Overall Model Validation (OMV) and Production Performance Lookback (LB) processes for our manufacturing sites. This role will involve analyzing data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and presenting findings to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute monthly backcasting/lookback process to analyze production data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Site Senior Economists to understand opportunities and execute follow-up actions.
  • Work closely with Modeling & Optimization engineers to investigate model gaps and make necessary adjustments.
  • Develop and implement tool improvements to enhance planning and scheduling processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in refinery/petrochemical manufacturing, including production planning and scheduling.
  • Experience with planning tools and manufacturing economics knowledge preferred.
