About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior General Ledger Specialist at Greif Malaysia. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial data.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare complex calculations for manual journal entries, such as customer rebate accruals and transport cost accruals
  • Coordinate intercompany mismatch resolution with AP and AR teams
  • Support internal and external audit by providing timely and accurate information as needed
  • Participate in R2R projects and migrate new tasks from business units to BSC
  • Support colleagues in professional questions and act as subject matter expert of Greif standard processes and systems

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Finance or Accountancy
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in general ledger processes and accounting
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Proficient computer skills with ability to learn new software
  • Solid user-level proficiency in MS Office
