Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing and handling a full set of accounts with accuracy and compliance to accounting standards.
- Leading a team of accountants.
- Preparing payments and performing monthly reconciliation of bank balance, debtor, creditor, and intercompany balances.
- Liaising with external parties including company secretary, auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and other statutory bodies/authorities to ensure compliance with audit, tax, and statutory obligations.
- Preparing withholding tax computation and ensuring its payment on a timely basis.
- Ensuring all statutory submissions are completed before their respective due dates.
- Assisting in managing day-to-day operations of the accounts department ensuring proper reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Reporting to Finance Manager.
- Performing other tasks as assigned by Management.
