The DKSH Group is seeking a Global Business Development Specialist to join its Commercial Outsourcing division. This role is focused on supporting the Business Development team to drive client acquisition in the Ethical channel and develop strategies for long-term relationships with consumer healthcare clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Business Development team to identify, evaluate, and manage business opportunities or leads to develop a strong pipeline in the consumer healthcare segment.
  • Developing and implementing client engagement activities as part of the hunting process.
  • Preparing business case analysis, proposal, negotiation, pricing, and contract terms.
  • Leading and managing the improvement of current Business Development processes and cross-functional collaboration to drive effectiveness and minimize redundancy within the consumer healthcare segment.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify upselling opportunities, deal negotiations, and finalization of contracts or existing clients.
  • Establishing long-term relationships with potential key clients/customers to enhance business opportunities.
  • Leading and conducting market research or feasibility studies, evaluating findings, and making recommendations to management about the viability of the opportunity.
  • Overseeing the business integration process for new clients to ensure alignment with relevant key functions.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the ethical business.
  • Relevant experience in the ethical marketing business, especially in the Hospital channel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups, dashboards) and ability to handle data ambiguity as well as developing compelling presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a team with attention to detail and able to work under pressure.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and resourceful.
  • Ability to understand business needs and deliver meaningful market analysis or assessment with recommendations.
  • Demonstrated fluency in English, both written and spoken.
