About the role:

The Enterprise Systems Specialist is responsible for the implementation, administration, maintenance, and evolution of the global Nintex enterprise systems and network.

Your contribution will be:

  • Configuring, administering, and supporting core enterprise systems including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Hyper-V, Virtual Machine Manager, Intune, O365, Exchange, Defender for Endpoint, SharePoint online, backups, and system monitoring.
  • Administering LAN/WAN systems including Internet services, firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, WIFI, and security systems in support of a global enterprise architecture.
  • Configuring and maintaining key Infrastructure systems.
  • Monitoring system performance and executing proactive maintenance.
  • Participating in security investigations leveraging various system logs and our Defender for Endpoint platform.
  • Automating and improving processes with scripting technologies such as PowerShell.
  • Providing tier 2 support for the internal IT Support team.
  • Maintaining records of system downtime and equipment inventory.
  • Working with vendors to assist support and upgrade activities.
  • Maintaining documentation and procedures for best practice standards.
  • Monitoring ticketing system progress and resolving tickets efficiently using documented processes and critical thinking.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting issues and developing effective solutions to ensure systems are running efficiently.
  • Auditing applications and systems to analyze for compliance and changes that need to be made.
  • Performing system upgrades and backups, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Facilitating a deeper understanding of IT systems across the Support team through use of documentation and training.

  • At least 2 years' experience in a Systems and/or Network Engineering role.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with remote teams and end users.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and a team focus.
