Celestica Inc. is seeking a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality hardware products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify technical issues and develop solutions through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in customer technical meetings and prepare training programs to ensure effective communication.
- Validate hardware against customer infield issues, requirements, and manufacturing defects during new product introduction or return merchandise authorization.
- Conduct system validation, including design validation testing and signal, power, integrity, and timing testing.
- Qualify alternative components for compatibility, cost-effectiveness, and benchmarking purposes.
- Support Manufacturing Engineering and Test Engineers in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with software teams to identify the root cause of system failures.
- Install software such as Linux-based operating systems, ONIE, BIOS, BMC, and SES.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using various test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, impedance analyzers, power meters, signal analyzers, and spectrums.
- Possess experience with Orcad Schematics & Allegro PCB layout tools is desired.
