Job Description:

Associate/Specialist (A1)
  • To attend meetings accompanied by Seniors if required.
  • Responsible for preparing statutory documents, including AGM reminders and annual returns.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • To prepare announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and arrange meetings with senior management.
  • To ensure timely billing and collections.
  • To maintain high standards of corporate governance and compliance.
  • To file and manage clients' documents and records.
Senior Associate/Senior Specialist (A2)
  • Review and ensure accuracy of team-prepared documents and reports.
  • Provide coaching and training to team members.
  • Attend meetings and prepare statutory documents.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of corporate secretarial works and deliverables.
  • Manage a team of assistants and associates in handling various corporate secretarial works.
  • Prepare and update reports as per schedule.
  • Respond to clients' enquiries and resolve issues.
  • Plan engagements and set clear goals and deadlines.
  • Report and consult with managers and head of department.
  • Ensure quality deliverables and review work of staff.
  • Streamline workflow processes and optimize manpower structure.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Companies Acts, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, and CS Guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of English language, with proficiency in Mandarin an advantage.
  • Familiarity with filing of statutory forms and Companies Acts.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Clear understanding of customer and organizational needs.
  • Associate/Specialist (A1): Graduate in corporate administration, laws, or related field, or min 1 year experience in corporate secretarial field.
  • Senior Associate/Senior Specialist (A2): Min 3 years relevant working experience in corporate secretarial fields with reviewing experience.
  • Assistant Manager/Team Lead (A3): Min 6 years relevant working experience in corporate secretarial fields with reviewing experience, client, and people management experience.
