Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled General Surgeon to join our team at Doctors Hospital Cayman. As a General Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:
  • Consult and diagnose patients to determine the best course of treatment
  • Perform pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative surgical care to patients
  • Adequately investigate patients' surgical conditions using various imaging modalities
  • Accurately document medical records and chart patient progress
  • Collaborate with other members of the clinical staff to provide comprehensive medical and surgical care
  • Refer patients to internal specialists or external healthcare entities when necessary
Qualifications / Knowledge Requirements:
  1. Completed residency in General Surgery
  2. Minimum 10 years experience as a General Surgeon
  3. Currently practicing or licensed as a General Surgeon, in good standing
  4. Any sub-specialized training and experience is considered an advantage
  5. Fluent in English language and effective oral communication skills
  6. Possess strong work-ethics and excellent interpersonal skills
Additional Skills & Abilities:
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Skills in teaching, training, and developing clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Skills and techniques in using robotic equipment to perform non-invasive procedures
