Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of tax compliance including calculation, filing, payment, and reconciliation of taxes.
  • Ensure adherence to local GAAP and statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, controllership, and operations, to assess the tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
  • Facilitate communication with in-country tax teams, global tax advisory teams, in-country controllership teams, and product company FP&A through various channels.
  • Monitor, analyze changes in the company's business activities, structure, and proactively identify opportunities to optimize tax efficiency and mitigate tax risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, ACCA, CPA, and Professional Cert in Accounting (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Oracle and SAP systems.
  • Experience in Blackline accounts reconciliation tool and advanced proficiency in MS Excel would be advantageous.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing tax strategies to optimize tax efficiency and minimize tax risks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex tax issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams of more than 10 subordinates.
