Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process engineering improvement ideas for polyolefins and elastomer finishing processes including extrusion, pelletization, solids handling, devolatization, wet rubber finishing, and packaging operations.
  • Establish robust tools for polymer sites to identify and advance improvement ideas for their finishing units, prioritize projects, and support business decisions.

Key deliverables include:

  • Work in a supportive and collaborative environment focused on delivering value to the business.
  • Develop robust tools for process modeling / optimizations to meet various business needs.
  • Enhance the efficiency and reliability of polyolefins/elastomer finishing processes.
  • Support manufacturing assets improvement activities including but not limited to development of design basis and lead/support manufacturing trials.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and initiate sustainable implementations.
  • Stay current with developments in process simulation tools and seek new solutions to enhance profitability.
  • Influence decision-making by introducing new ideas, enhancements, and improvements to existing finishing processes.
  • Mentor and develop young engineers.
