About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team at BilaBila Retail Sdn. Bhd. The ideal candidate will have experience in supplier management, inventory optimization, and procurement process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop Strategic Supplier Relationships: Build relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable, high-quality products and services.
  2. Analyze and Optimize Inventory: Use data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings. Develop strategies to minimize excess inventory holding costs.
  3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with supply chain, operations, and logistics teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and drive category growth.
  4. Draft and Manage Contracts: Create, review, and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing or category management.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software applications.
