Job Description

The Senior Process Engineer 1 will develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and BOM for vacuum capacitor production. This includes identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance yield, reduce costs, automation, and improve product quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, work instructions, and BOM for vacuum capacitor production.
  2. Conducting process capability studies and statistical process control (SPC) analysis.
  3. Collaborating and supporting quality control activities, including incoming material inspection, in-process inspection, final product testing through to packaging and shipping.
  4. Leading and resolving manufacturing issues and escalations with corrective and preventive actions implementation.
  5. Establishing processes for maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Materials Science/Industrial Engineering or equivalent, with minimum 4 years relevant experience in vacuum capacitor manufacturing or design roles, or equivalent within a similar industry.

Key qualifications include:

  1. Strong understanding of vacuum capacitor technology and its application, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
  2. Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  4. Experience of ERP systems such as SAP, project management tools such as JIRA.
  5. Proficient in 3D mechanical modeling with SolidWorks.
