Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As an integral part of our production process, you will play a vital role in developing and improving our molding capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead process development for existing and new molds, ensuring a well-balanced approach considering mold, material, machine, and equipment specifications, measurements, and performance.
  • Train and educate technicians to share understanding and knowledge across all molding processes, promoting consistency and efficiency.
  • Mold and material trial optimization, cost-saving projects, R&D initiatives, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to find the best possible solutions considering the total setup.
  • Analyze test data using statistical tools to gain precise information and reach accurate conclusions quickly.
  • Document and file investigations and results for easy access at a later stage.
  • Translate specifications and requirements into daily work, demonstrating a broader perspective.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering with extensive experience in Molding.
  • Good experience in supporting and troubleshooting day-to-day molding production engineering-related issues and cost-saving projects.
  • Experience in performing mold, molding machine, and molding process optimization and improvement, as well as conducting molded component defect analysis and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Molding Technologies and Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce defects in the molding production process.
