Corporate Counselor

We are seeking a seasoned attorney to join our Country Legal team as a Legal Counsel. As a key member of the team, you will provide critical legal support and guidance on various matters including contractual, regulatory, compliance, and governance advice.

The successful candidate will have 6 years PQE in a reputable law firm with a preference for 2-3 years as in-house counsel in an MNC. Strong drafting, negotiation, and research skills are essential, along with the ability to advise on commercial contracts related to the company's business.

You will be responsible for creating new templates, reviewing and amending agreements, conducting legal analysis on new product initiatives, and liaising with regional Grab Legal counsels and internal stakeholders.

To excel in this role, you must have in-depth experience in commercial real estate negotiation, drafting skills, civil litigation, and competition law. A bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university is required, and admission to the English Bar or Malaysian Bar is a necessity.
