Job Description

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to teach and guide nursing students in a clinical setting. The successful candidate will have experience in clinical areas and be able to provide effective guidance to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Placement Teaching: The incumbent will be responsible for teaching nursing students at various hospitals as assigned by the university.
  • Clinical Guidance: The candidate will provide clinical guidance to students during their postings, ensuring they meet the programme syllabus requirements.
  • Student Monitoring: The academic clinician will monitor students' attendance and performance, providing feedback to improve their skills.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: The successful candidate will assess students' reports, presentations, and assignments, evaluating their performance in clinical postings.
  • Teaching Materials Preparation: The incumbent will contribute to the preparation of teaching materials, particularly for the clinical module.
  • Additional Tasks: The academic clinician may be required to perform other tasks as assigned by the university from time to time.
