IT Consultant

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst/Functional Consultant to join our team at atQuest.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis and be able to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

About the Role:

• This role involves performing business processes and requirements analysis and preparing related documentation.
• The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with clients on various levels to obtain the necessary understanding on the business processes and requirements.
• You will produce documents such as business blueprint documents, functional specifications documents, process flow diagrams, testing scripts and training materials.
• Additionally, you will prepare and conduct workshops for training, presentation, system demonstration, etc.
• And also, you will plan and conduct user acceptance tests and trainings to end users and provide application support.
• As well as apply structured problem-solving skills to evaluate problems, identify root causes, and come up with action plans and resolution options.
• You will also effectively communicate plans, findings, suggestions, and/or ideas with cross-functional team members and clients.
• Furthermore, you will define implementation plan, monitor project progress, and conduct project status updates meeting for clients.
• Finally, you will provide domain knowledge and ongoing functional expertise to clients and provide workaround and suggestions on application issues.

What We Offer:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Science & Technology, Social Science/Sociology, Business Studies/Administration/Management, or any IT related disciplines (Minimum bachelor or Post-graduate degrees)
• Strong knowledge in computer industry, technology fields and software development.
• Strong proficiency in English, Malay & Chinese language (written and spoken).
• Highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• For senior position, minimum 5 years' working experience in functional consulting or business analysis in Vendor environment is a must.
