About the Role

At Standard Chartered, we're looking for a talented and experienced Audit Manager to join our Transaction Banking Operations team. As an integral part of our Internal Audit function, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality audits that help us identify and mitigate risks, ensuring our operations are efficient and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute audits across various aspects of Transaction Banking Operations, including change and transformation initiatives, business integrated reviews, and regulatory-driven assessments.
  • Demonstrate expertise in data analytics, utilizing tools like Power BI, VBA in MS Excel, and Tableau to diagnose underlying issues, patterns, and root causes.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging your exceptional communication skills to facilitate effective audit work execution.
  • Maintain accurate records, monitor assigned audit issues, and report overdue items to senior management for resolution.

Skillset

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in internal or external audit, preferably in the Banking and Financial Services industry.
  • Knowledge and experience in Transaction Banking (Trade or Cash) Operations is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with auditing methodologies and risk-based approaches.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including team members, product owners, and senior managers.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
