Job Overview

The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing processes for manufacturing to achieve quality, cost, and delivery goals. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of new products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating daily tasks via internal systems such as Citrix, Matrix, SAP, and ODC.
  • Maintain monthly key performance indicators and weekly EC release data.
  • Present in weekly ECN Con-Call for Johor Site to Customer/Site Coordinate and guarantee proper implementation of internal or external ECNs.
  • Monitor all phases of an ECN implementation from receiving the request, validating change impacts, confirming requirements, and gathering approvals before implementation.
Detailed Description
  • Analyze customer changes for site impact for every Matrix ECs release.
  • Decide the disposition tools for ECs released based on customer disposition change.
  • Monitor MM submission for Halb and Fert items successfully updated in the system.
  • Maintain input placement for all planning assembly releases based on site manufacturing engineer decision.
  • Chair weekly ECO meeting by customers.
  • Bridge matrix ECs based on depletion date as per EC meeting decision.
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of EC bridging to SAP.
  • Check I-Doc error after EC bridging if any.
  • Maintain BOM routing and component allocation in SAP.
  • Refresh routing for every MIP going to release.
  • Troubleshoot and solve system issues and liaise with IT support on BOM issues.
  • Study new project enhancements such as EC EtQ, Auto Sort string, and Auto.
  • Comply with additional assignments when assigned by superior.
  • Process all internal and external ECN requests and coordinate activities with work cell staff.
  • Update SAP for BOM, AVL, new part numbers, and drawings.
  • Maintain 100% BOM accuracy.
  • Manage effective dates for BOM in SAP in conjunction with planning.
  • Coordinate weekly CCB meetings with PDX site and daily CCB meetings with internal team.
Typical Experience
  • Entry-level to 1 year.
Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Educational requirements may vary by geography.
