We are seeking a highly capable and experienced General Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our company, a leading provider of premium safety lockers in Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic growth and profitability of the business, ensuring efficient day-to-day management, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Key Accountabilities">
  1. Strategic Leadership: Providing leadership and direction to the organisation, aligning all business functions to achieve the company's overall objectives
  2. Daily Operations: Overseeing the daily operations of the business, including production, sales, marketing, finance, and human resources
  3. Business Planning: Developing and implementing effective business plans, budgets, and KPIs to drive growth and profitability
  4. Relationship Building: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and industry partners
  5. Innovation: Identifying new market opportunities and spearheading the development of innovative products and services
  6. Culture Development: Fostering a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work culture
  7. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Requirements

  • Leadership Experience: Extensive experience (8+ years) in a senior management or general manager role, preferably within the manufacturing or safety equipment industry
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and managing a diverse team to achieve business objectives
  • Strategic Planning: Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and cost control
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the manufacturing and safety equipment industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape
  • Educational Background: Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
