Key Responsibilities
  • HR Administration & Operations
    • Handle day-to-day HR operations for KL commercial office.
    • Payroll Processing: process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements. Handle employees' queries related to tax.
    • Insurance & Claims: Manage employee insurance, medical benefits and claims, addressing inquiries and ensuring timely resolution.
    • Employee & Industrial Relations: Support employee concerns, engagement activities, and industrial relations matters to maintain a positive work environment.
    • Performance Management: Assist with performance reviews and ensure timely completion.
    • HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal or external audits, and prepare required reports.
    • HR Strategy Support: Provide research and insights to assist with HR strategy and data-informed decision-making.

  • Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and Offboarding
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to recruit and onboard top talent for offices in Malaysia.
    • Prepare and manage employment documentation, including offer letters and contracts.
    • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions for employees.
  • Regional HR Projects and Initiatives
    • Support regional HR projects, including training, surveys, and HRIS implementation.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field;
    • Minimum 8 years relevant work experience with good knowledge and application of employment legislation and governance standards;
    • Familiarity with labor laws and a basic understanding of financial principles.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in reporting and data analysis, and proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Experience with HR software systems such as Workday will be a plus.
