About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced accountant to join our high-performing team. As a key member of the Finance Department, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day operations, monthly closing and reporting, and assisting the Finance Manager in financial planning, annual audit, and tax submission. You will also serve as a liaison between customers, vendors, auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other team members. This is a sole contributor role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to the Finance Manager.
  2. Accounting processes and tasks.
  3. Data entry.
  4. Liaison with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required, as well as internal teams.
  5. Compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirements (GST/WHT/CIT/...), audits, procedures, and forms both statutory and internal.
  6. Assisting in new processes and system implementation when required.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
  8. Coordinating internal and external audits, ensuring accurate and timely provision of required financial information.

About Your Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have at least 3 years' experience in a financial accounting position, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management. Your qualifications should include:
  • Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent or degree in accountancy/professional qualification (or partially qualified accountant).
  • A broad range of accounting and commercial skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excel skills at Intermediate level.
