About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our AML Independent Validation (IV) team. The successful candidate will provide assurance that the Bank's AML tools are well controlled and fit for purpose.
Main Responsibilities:
- Validate data and apply quantitative and qualitative analysis methods. Perform statistical and non-statistical data exploration and identify data quality issues.
- Conduct data-driven analyses and analyze, interpret data reports, and draw conclusions.
- Enhance existing methodology by reviewing the statistics literature to generate new ideas and concepts.
Requirements:
- Strong statistical academic background, knowledge of quantitative methods, and experience with data analysis software.
- A high degree of skill with SQL, Python, SAS, R, and the MS Office Suite.
- Experience in reporting the results of analysis in a clearly written manner and presenting findings during meetings and conference calls.
- A bachelor's degree is required. A master's degree in statistics, mathematics, or related quantitative field is preferred.
