Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Process Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing mechanical systems and preparing high-quality engineering deliverables within agreed timelines. You will work closely with Process Engineers to develop and optimize process designs, including flow diagrams, equipment layouts, and specifications.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Review and analysis of regulatory requirements and safety design as per standards.
  • Preparation of detailed technical drawings using CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Smart Plant P&ID.
  • Design of 3D models using SP3D / PDMS / AVEVA E3D / Revit.
  • Clash detection management with other disciplines.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mechanical design and drafting, with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in process design and drafting preferably in Industrial projects. You should also have experience with local and international codes and standards related to process design.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Associate degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in process design and drafting preferably in Industrial projects.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Experienced in EPCM work environment.
  • Experienced in tools and software such as AutoCAD, Smart Plant P&ID, SP3D, PDMS, AVEVA E3D and Revit.
  • Familiar with local and international codes and standards related to process design.
