About the Job

The employer, a leading bank in Malaysia, is now hiring for a Personal Banker to be stationed in their branches across the country.

As a Personal Banker, you will play a crucial role in selling and promoting bancassurance products and identifying customer segments for new sales.

  • You will perform prospecting and cold calls to engage with potential prospects for sales.
  • Participate in sales and marketing events to acquire new customers and build business relationships with customers to strengthen rapport for up-selling activities.

You will also provide financial advice and follow-up service on policy matters to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell and promote bancassurance products
  • Identify customer segments for new sales
  • Perform prospecting and cold calls
  • Participate in sales and marketing events
  • Provide financial advice and follow-up service

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM qualification with at least 5 passes including BM
  • Fresh diploma/degree holders are also encouraged to apply
  • Experience in sales and customer service would be an added advantage
  • Result-driven with a strong interest in sales and marketing
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Mandarin speaking ability is a plus
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel where required
