Conveyancing and Litigation Lawyer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conveyancing and Litigation Lawyer to join our team at Malaysianbar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conveyancing and litigation, with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in law firms.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all conveyancing and court matters, including:

• Handling of all loans, whether conventional or Islamic, retail or corporate;
• Handling of all sales and purchase transactions, whether sub-sales or purchase from developers;
• Handling of all court matters, such as probate, letters of administration, divorce, and attending to case management and hearings;
• Corresponding, attending, and communicating with clients, bankers, and various government bodies;
• Preparation of status reports;
• Any other works assigned by the firm from time to time.

Pupil/Chambering Student Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

• Basic computer knowledge;
• Preparation of legal documents relating to conveyancing, loan documentation, and litigation documentation;
• Liaising with clients, bankers, agents, developers, and various government bodies;
• Handling sub-sales, developer projects, loan, and other conveyancing matters;
• Monitoring and following up closely with all files, attending to client correspondences, reporting, and updating lawyers;
• Assisting lawyers in handling all loan documentation for financing and refinancing, and other related conveyancing matters;
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken);
• Responsible and dedicated in work;
• Occasionally able to work overtime and/or holidays;
• Familiar with e-filing and online banking.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• The necessary qualifications with a valid practicing certificate;
• At least 3 years of working experience as a conveyancing/litigation lawyer;
• Must be willing to learn fast, work hard, and be responsible.
