Job Description

Ranpak is seeking a skilled Procurement Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms.
  • Maintain robust relationships with existing suppliers while continually identifying and qualifying new suppliers to enhance the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand material requirements and ensure prompt delivery of essential components.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing shifts to make informed decisions about supplier selection and contract negotiation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managerial roles in procurement or buying, preferably in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Experience in SAP systems and procurement software.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
