About the Role

As a Senior Manager Procurement at Infineon Technologies AG, you will lead and guide a team of 6-10 buyers within a commodity segment and other non-procurement activities as assigned. Your key responsibility is to ensure high performance from your team to meet yearly targets and maintain compliance with all policies and guidelines.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of buyers to achieve high performance and meet their yearly targets.
  • Maintain compliance with all policies and guidelines.
  • Develop local procurement strategies for a commodity segment to ensure long-term, cost-effective supply of products/services.
  • Negotiate contracts and prices for large volumes to contribute to the profitability of the company.
  • Implement alternative procurement sources to minimize stock times, inventory levels, and costs (cost avoidance or cost reduction).
  • Maintain regular contact with interface partners to recognize developments and exert influence accordingly.
  • Analyze and control contractual agreements, prepare for re-negotiations/subsequent negotiations, initiate appropriate measures, and guarantee supplies.
  • Manage suppliers to gain the best suppliers and guarantee supply chain security.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Master's or Degree in any management or technical field.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of procurement working experience from the semiconductor industry, preferably in the front-end industry.
  • Experience as both a people manager and strategic buyer.
  • Deep knowledge of relevant markets, market development, main players, and competitors.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • Good coordination skills for interdisciplinary expert teams and/or purchasing teams.
  • Good working knowledge of TS16949, ISO14001 preferred.
