We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our team at Aggreko. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical power systems for our global power fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis of client system load profiles and electrical plant characteristics to determine sizing of power generation packages
  • Analysis and interpretation of electrical drawings to determine parameters for safe and efficient connection of power packages to customers' electrical distribution systems
  • Perform electrical fault level calculations and protection studies for high voltage systems up to 66kV
  • Compile engineering schematic & layout drawings using CAD, design reports for submission to clients and management
  • Advise Sales team on specific design issues and propose engineering solutions
  • Liaise with client's technical staff and visit potential job sites, as required, to verify project needs
Requirements
  • Qualified Electrical Engineer with minimum 7 years experience in an electrical power systems business
  • Exposure to power generation, high voltage systems and project management would be highly regarded
  • Provide technical engineering assistance & support to and for the business
  • QHSE, Project, Time and Risk Management experience
  • Ability to implement and continually improve on applicable processes and systems
  • MS Office Suite & Technical Software Experience
