Radiography Professional Job Description

LS FAMILY SDN BHD is looking for an experienced Radiography Professional to join our team. As a Radiographer cum Clinic Assistant, you will be responsible for performing imaging examinations, preparing patients, and ensuring radiation safety protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate imaging equipment such as X-rays to capture high-quality images for patient diagnosis.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring they are comfortable.
  • Review and evaluate the image quality to ensure diagnostic clarity, reporting any technical issues or abnormalities in imaging results.

Collaboration and Maintenance

  • Work closely with doctors to discuss imaging results and assist in diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on radiographic equipment to ensure functionality and safety, reporting any issues for repair.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging.
  • Certified Radiographer with registration under the Malaysian Society of Radiographers (MSR) or relevant governing body.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, good communication and patient interaction skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, knowledge of radiation safety and protocol.
