About the Role

As a Regional Legal Counsel at Goodpack Limited, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's commercial and compliance strategies. You will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on complex commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, and collaborating with external legal teams to maintain consistency in advice.

Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, advise on, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including sales, procurement, and leasing contracts.
  • Ensure contracts are compliant with local laws and align with the Company's risk profile and commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate with external legal teams to provide consistent advice that keeps the big picture in mind.
  • Monitor regional legal and regulatory developments and advise on their impact on the business.
Requirements
  • Law degree from a recognized university with admission to practice in a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
  • Minimum 6-8 years' post-qualification experience, preferably in-house in a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts.
  • Understanding of regional legal frameworks and ability to work with business to prioritize, analyze, and mitigate risk effectively.
  • Agile, adaptable, flexible, and able to manage competing priorities with a solution-oriented mindset.
