Threat Intelligence Analyst

GXS Bank is seeking a Threat Intelligence Analyst to analyze and assess potential security threats to our digital assets within AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and assess potential security threats to our digital assets.
  • Develop and maintain detection mechanisms using Detection as Code concept.
  • Collaborate with cyber security operations team to ensure effective threat detection and response workflows.
  • Design and script automation solutions to enhance detection capabilities.
  • Integrate and maintain orchestration platforms to streamline security operations.
  • Enhance security alerts to improve fidelity of cyber threat detection rules.
  • Provide expertise on security tools such as Splunk and Google SecOps.
  • Stay up-to-date with latest cyber security trends and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in cyber security operations and threat detection.
  • Strong knowledge of Detection as Code concept.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Terraform and Python.
  • Experience with automation and orchestration platforms.
  • Familiarity with security tools is highly desirable.
  • Experience integrating with AWS services is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills.
