Senior Finance Executive, Group Reporting

We are looking for a talented Senior Finance Executive to lead our accounting and reporting functions at New Hoong Fatt Holdings Berhad. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing consolidated financial statements and working with statutory requirements.

  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Preparation of the Group's Monthly Consolidated Accounts in line with MFRS and other regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration with the Reporting Manager to develop Quarterly Board Papers.
  • Supporting the Reporting Manager in compiling Group Accounts Monthly Reporting packages.
  • Effective communication with external auditors to ensure audit completion and compliance with MFRS.
  • Providing regular financial updates to management.
  • Development of the Group Budget and preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements.
  • Tax planning and management of the Group's Effective Tax Rate.
  • Process improvement initiatives to streamline GL and Reporting functions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field.
  • Professional certifications (ACCA, etc.) are advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
