Job Overview

This is a challenging role that requires a strong understanding of the medical industry and sales skills to manage the channel.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage day-to-day operating expenditures against budgets to ensure efficient resource usage.
  2. Provide input to medical sales plans based on experience and implement action plans to achieve sales targets.
  3. Track progress against key performance indicators and sales plans, prioritizing and reviewing daily sales activities.
  4. Solicit orders, gain demonstrations, and quotation opportunities from existing and prospective customers.
  5. Conduct product demonstrations, emphasizing saleable features and customer benefits.
  6. Prepare quotation/tender prices, delivery, and commercial terms in accordance with company policies.
  7. Report on competitor activities and products.
  8. Record sales data for reporting and tracking purposes, maintaining relevant customer data in CRM databases.
  9. Execute continuous improvement activities to enhance sales processes, sales plans, customer satisfaction, etc.
  10. Maintain a customer complaints/issues log and follow up on customer issues.
  11. Respond to customer orders and queries, informing current and prospective customers of promotions and new/upgraded products.
  12. Work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery or installation of products/systems.
  13. Support internal stakeholders in relationship development with key customers.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers/products/services and selling skills.
  • Possess basic knowledge of regulatory requirements of products within assigned territories.
  • Willing to travel outstation and cover more than one area.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Good command in English, both written and spoken.
Qualifications

Degree or professional qualification in a Science- or Medical-related discipline with minimum one year experience in similar role.
