As an Account Payable Analyst at Ørsted, you'll be responsible for managing our global accounts payable operations. This involves ensuring timely and accurate payment processing while maintaining high-quality vendor relationships.

You'll be part of Financial Services Kuala Lumpur, where you'll collaborate with colleagues to provide business support services on a global scale. Your work will focus on account payable management, supporting the reconciliation process, and improving processes to enhance vendor relationships.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Improving process efficiency and suggesting enhancements to the Service Delivery Owner.
  • Responding to internal and external inquiries related to accounts payable issues.
  • Resolving discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
  • Providing excellent customer service by responding to internal and external inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to optimize processes and strengthen vendor relationships.
  • Participating in accounts payable transaction reconciliation.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, finance, or be a member of any relevant professional organizations.
  • Experience in a global shared services centre, particularly in accounts payable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with vendors professionally.
  • An analytical and logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable processes and accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
