About the Role:

Tec D Malaysia is seeking a highly skilled Head of Regulatory Compliance for the APJ region. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape the compliance landscape across a diverse and rapidly evolving region.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive regulatory compliance strategies for Tec D Malaysia in the APJ region.

  • Team Management: Lead a dedicated team in the APJ region, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Establish and maintain robust compliance frameworks for import, export, and export control across all Tec D Malaysia companies in the APJ region.

  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee import compliance in APJ, coordinating closely with the Global Director of Import Compliance on policy and procedures.

  • Partnerships & Collaboration: Collaborate with business partners to ensure accurate import valuations, classifications, and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: A 4-year university degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of import-export regulations and compliance laws.

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, with a track record of making impactful decisions and driving change.
