Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Marine EHS Strategist to lead our health and safety programs for marine operations.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in marine (Nautical or Engineering) operations who can ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to consult, advise, and direct marine operations on matters related to environmental, health, and safety (EHS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective EHS strategies to minimize risks and hazards associated with marine operations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with marine operations teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in EHS meetings, reporting of incidents, incident investigations, and performance reporting.

Requirements:

  1. Possess a Master Mariner or Chief Engineer class 1 unlimited certification.
  2. Hold IMO certified with at least 5 years of experience in oil and gas related operations.
  3. Possess a valid Medical Fitness Certificate from PETRONAS.
  4. Possess Approved Medical Examiner (AME) certification.
  5. Hold a valid T-Bosiet certificate as per the latest PETRONAS Offshore Safety Passport (OSP) Guideline.

Estimated Salary: RM 150,000 - RM 180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
