Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Data Centre Operations Manager to lead our team of skilled professionals in ensuring the smooth operation of our critical environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and management support to our Critical Environment shift team, who work tirelessly to maintain 100% uptime to all critical power systems on site.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data centre operations, with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership skills, including stakeholder management, interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malay.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Leading, managing, and supervising the designated shift team to ensure the successful operation, maintenance, and repair of all critical environment systems.
  2. Planning daily activities for the shift team, ensuring all aspects of the shift and facility are covered and monitored during your day.
  3. Prioritizing and assigning Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks, Time-Triggered (TT) jobs, and unplanned work orders to the shift Data Centre Specialists to achieve 100% compliance every month.
  4. Ensuring adherence to all quality, health and safety, and environmental policies within the domain.
  5. Cordinating ongoing maintenance and activities within the Data Centre for the shift team.
