Job Overview:

Vinarco International is seeking a highly skilled Senior Reservoir Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a key member of our subsurface team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing reservoir management plans to optimize reserves, recovery factors, and production in oil and gas reservoirs.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain accurate reservoir models to support field development planning and reserves evaluation.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate reservoir engineering data into field development plans and optimize production.
  3. Provide technical oversight and input during milestone reviews for Field Development Plans (FDP) and Full Field Reviews (FFR).
  4. Design and implement production optimization programs to improve reservoir performance and increase production.
  5. Compile regular progress reports and project status updates to support management decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Degree or masters in petroleum engineering or a similar engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in reservoir engineering, with a focus on field developments, reserves evaluation, and simulation modeling.
  • Proven track record of skills development and mentoring of junior engineers.
  • Proficiency in computing skills in Eclipse 100, Eclipse Office, TNav, Petrel, Saphir, GAP, Prosper, MBAL, and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
