Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Tranglo. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing complex network solutions to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Design and Implementation
    • Design and deploy scalable and secure network architectures to meet the needs of our business.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network solutions align with business objectives.
  • Network Operations and Maintenance
    • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
    • Perform regular network maintenance tasks, including software updates and hardware replacements.
  • Network Security and Compliance
    • Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats.
    • Ensure network compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Team Collaboration and Mentorship
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and other team members.
    • Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong background in designing and managing enterprise-level networks.
  • Technical Skills
    • Advanced knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
    • Hands-on experience with network hardware and software from leading vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
    • Proficiency in network security practices and tools.
  • Soft Skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant Certifications
    • CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, CISSP certifications are highly desirable.
  • Cloud Experience
    • Experience with Wintel, virtualization, and Azure/AWS cloud environments is a significant advantage.
