As a Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist with Agensi Pekerjaan HR2O Asia, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's quality management system (QMS) is aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

This senior site position involves leading the planning, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the QMS to meet the needs and expectations of various stakeholders, including customers, certifying bodies, and interested parties.

  • You will work closely with the site senior leadership team to foster a culture of quality and provide guidance, governance, and expertise to ensure compliance with industry standards, applicable aviation safety laws, customer, and company aerospace global standards.
  • Your responsibilities will include planning, conducting, and following up on product and production process audits as required by programs; systemic risk management and mitigation for the QMS; and acting as the site representation on QMS-related matters with customers, certifying bodies, and aerospace authorities.
  • You will also be responsible for coordinating, planning, hosting, and leading all regulatory/customer (2nd party) and certification body (3rd party) audits and assessments to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Furthermore, you will plan and manage system requirements for hosting and deployment of the local QMS, its stated processes, and associated controls, as well as training personnel who will define or utilize these functions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Planning, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the QMS to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Working collaboratively with the site senior leadership team to create and sustain a culture of quality and provide guidance, governance, and expertise to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinating, planning, hosting, and leading all regulatory/customer (2nd party) and certification body (3rd party) audits and assessments to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Managing system requirements for hosting and deployment of the local QMS, its stated processes, and associated controls.
  • Recording and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the QMS and taking necessary actions to improve.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong knowledge, experience, and training in ISO 9001, AS/EN/JISQ 9100, aviation regulatory requirements, and customer quality standards. Additionally, you should have experience deploying business management systems across an organization of similar size.

  • Formal, internationally recognized qualifications in business management and/or quality management, such as a university degree, master's degree, or certificate in management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and training in Lean and its application within a business management context.
  • Effective use of the ISO 9001 Process Effectiveness Assessment Report (PEAR) and processes defined within AS 9110.
  • Knowledge of ISO 19001 and use of process- and risk-based methods and techniques for audit planning and execution.
  • Practical knowledge and experience of the IAQG OASIS database for input to audit planning.
  • Development of people, their QMS knowledge, and perception of QMS value within and outside direct control.
  • Clear understanding of how the QMS supports the deployment of company values, strategic goals, and objectives and aligns them with organizational key processes.
  • Good knowledge of industry quality forums that define standards, such as IAQG, AESQ, etc.
  • An effective problem solver with strong knowledge of tools like Fault tree/RCCA.
  • A leader who can coach peers and has the ability to work within a matrix organization, with strong influencing skills.
  • A self-starter, motivated individual with the ability to positively motivate others within the organization.
