Job Summary

This role supports the execution of Enterprise Compliance function's oversight over RBC's Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) programs maintained within the Compliance function and the Reliance Model (RM) Review Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance Reviews
    • Plan and perform individual quality assurance reviews for in-scope areas pursuant to the approved annual program plan.
    • Prepare quality assurance review reports that explain how the review was conducted and what findings resulted from the work performed.
    • Assist the reviewed areas in understanding quality assurance review results and findings, and how to remediate/correct practices.
  • Reliance Model Annual Attestation
    • Facilitate the Reliance Model annual attestation process, including engagement of RM functions and sample review of completed attestations.
    • Maintain the supporting tool for the Reliance Model annual attestation process.
  • Issues Management
    • Manage the issues identified by the quality assurance review program, including inputting the required data into RegComp.
    • Ongoing monitoring of issues status and validation of remediation activities, following the enterprise Regulatory Compliance Issues Management Process.
  • RCM Ratings
    • Update RCM ratings for RM functions on a quarterly basis, based on results of quality assurance reviews and progress of issues remediation.
  • Program Development
    • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of the quality assurance review guidelines and annual quality assurance review plans.
    • Leverage best practices identified in reviews performed to drive continuous improvement in the overall quality assurance review program.
