As a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer 1 at Sanmina, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence through process improvement and technical expertise. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues, developing and implementing Lean manufacturing principles, creating Work Instructions, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, Preventive Maintenance plans, and training materials for SMT equipment operation, providing technical support to value stream teams, and identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in SMT chip placement equipment or PCB assembly manufacturing.
- Familiarity with statistical tools, IOT, and Industry 4.0 concepts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
